About the Pottery
My pottery is an intersection of my interests in ceramics, drawing, design, utility and narrative.
It seeks to gently insert itself into people’s environments and lives to create surprise recognitions between the artist and audience. The images, which are a combination of personal narratives and urban landscapes, are created with paper resist, slip work, drawing (sgraffito) and glaze interactions.
All of my work is food safe, durable and meant to find frequent use in homes and lives. I am solely responsible for the production of my pots, which are sold at craft shows and in galleries throughout Ontario.
